ACIM is a spiritual psychology/self-study course using Christian terminology.

It asks us to "teach only love..." through a specific instruction which enables us to release fear, anger, and guilt by learning how to forgive.

The text states that the curriculum of ACIM" ...is carefully conceived...at both the theoretical and practical levels. It emphasizes application rather than theory, and experience rather than theology ...that it is but one version of the universal curriculum ...this one differing from them only in form.

They all lead to God in the end."
