Treasurer

I have been a member of Unity of Surprise for three years. Presently, I have the honor of serving as treasurer of this great spiritual community.

I graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. My work experience consisted of teaching business education and then performing various marketing support functions with the IBM corporation.

After retiring, my husband and I lived in our motor home for several years and traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. While motor homing, I read the Daily Word and Unity Magazine regularly. We decided to buy a home at the Lake of Ozarks in Missouri, and it was there that I found my first Unity Church in Sunrise Beach. I loved the messages, classes, and the like-minded people.

My husband made his transition three years ago, and I decided to make my permanent home at Happy Trails RV resort in Surprise.

I am excited about the direction the Board is taking in using discernment as the method of making major decisions for this spiritual community. Not our will, but God's will. This is so necessary as we see us grow.

The thing I appreciate most about Unity of Surprise is that it gives me a chance to know more about God, myself, and others through the tremendous classes that are offered. It also offers opportunities to love and praise God more. Unity of Surprise offers fantastic ways to serve others and God. I am so blessed. Thank you, God, for Unity of Surprise.
