Unity of Surprise is a spiritual community dedicated to loving, serving and inspiring all people by celebrating our connectedness to God and to one another. We are committed to letting our light shine and to bringing the light and the Unity teachings to all seekers in our community and beyond. We are God-centered and we live in integrity. We value empowerment, commitment, acceptance, generosity and joy. Living our purpose, we affirm our oneness, demonstrate unconditional love and acceptance, teach Truth, embrace diversity and change, and create a prayer consciousness. Unity of Surprise was founded in June 2002 by Reverend Billie Martini and a small core group of supporters. We have continued to grow and have rented additional space to accommodate our growth. We're a diverse group of people ranging in age from newborn to age 95 and every age in between. Our backgrounds include celebrating God in most of the traditional religious institutions and some nontraditional ones. We're a mixture of single men and woman and married couples. We represent most all nationalities. Some of us are students, some of us work and some of us are retired. We found HOME when we found Unity of Surprise. We came home to an extended family of love and acceptance. As Unity of Surprise continues to grow and expand its presence in the Northwest Valley, we are committed to serving the community by offering a wide variety of activities which include worship, education, social activities and outreach.
